Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites
When I’m busy, I can put myself at risk of going the whole day without eating. I’m sure you can relate. Distractions like work, school, social media - all of it disconnects me from what my body needs and how I’m feeling. Most of these things are unavoidable, but being aware of this is key.
Having snacks like this on hand provides the FOOD energy (not the espresso, not the energy drinks) I need to keep me going.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy every sip of my coffee. Without mindfulness, it can become too easy to rely on the caffeine boost. We must always be aware our body’s are little machines with a beating heart and a wildly smart brain that need to be nourished and fed.
