Blender Black Bean Brownies

 Ingredients

1 can drained and rinsed black beans

1/2 c oat flour (make your own by simply blending oats!)

6 tbsp maple syrup

1/4 c cacao or cocoa powder (I used Nativas cacao)

1 egg

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

2 tbsp nut or oat milk

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

Dark chocolate chips (as much as you prefer to stir in or add on top)

How To:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F.

  2. Thoroughly rinse and drain the can of black beans. This is important as to AVOID any black bean flavor.

  3. Combine all listed ingredients (with the exception of the chocolate chips) into your blender, nutribullet, or similar appliance.

  4. Blend until smooth. Pro Tip: Pulsing and shaking a bit may help.

  5. Stir in chocolate chips, if that’s your thing (it’s my thing).

  6. Coat an 8x8 oven safe dish with cooking spray and pour batter evenly.

  7. Top with chocolate chips (also my thing)

  8. Bake for 25-30 min, testing with a toothpick!

Store in the refrigerator and enjoy for a week!
