2-Ingredient Bagels
I’m from New Jersey, so you know I love a good bagel. While these aren’t quite like the classic bagel shop, they come pretty damn close and taste better than any bagel you’ll find in a grocery store. Throw in the level of convenience and customization - I’ll choose ‘em every time.
BONUS: These bagels are great to store and save for up to four days. Easy to reheat in a toaster or toaster oven… making them perfect for a busy morning when you don’t want to put too much work into a satisfying breakfast.
The Easiest Bagel You’ll Ever Make
Ingredients for (2):
1 c flour - WW flour, GF flour, or oat flour
1 c yogurt - I’ve tried non fat greek and whole milk greek (DF should work too!)
1 tsp baking soda
optional: 1 egg whisked for wash, everything bagel seasoning, try throwing in some cinnamon & raisins, or slice and transform into a pizza bagel - which is my personal favorite right now!
How To:
Mix and mash together yogurt, flour, and baking soda in a bowl. The dough will thick and should be easy to mold into the shape of a bagel. *This is also the place where you can add in things like cinnamon, raisins, oregano, or other flavors.*
Coat each bagel in egg wash and again, add any seasoning you like!
Place in air fryer for 15-17 minutes at 380F. This makes for a crispier outside and softer inside, feel free to play around to get your preferred texture!
- OR -
Preheat oven to 350F, coat a non stick pan and bake bagels for 20-25 minutes.
Allow bagels to cool for 5~ minutes and enjoy!
